Joan Laporta

OK, I don't know the guy. Why is is he an intellectual prostitute?
Probably the most neurotic member of LaLiga Twitter. Outside from just being a real bastard he also runs multiple accounts under different names on other platforms claiming to be fans of other clubs.

On that one he is an Atletico fan who seems to hate on Barca and stan for Madrid, but he also had a tiktok till short time ago where he pretended to be a Barca fan (allthingsbarcelona, maybe someone knows it).

I just feel sorry for him as he isn't even doing it for money, he is just that sad.

Just seen the "Made in La Masia" tag on academy players on the first teams squad.

Must be a part of the clubs new positioning and marketing strategy.

Very good idea when we are looking to recruit talented youngsters and brand them under that moniker.

With that said, squad is incredibly thin even when everyone is back and will need some small miracles like the re-emergence of Ansu to compete on all fronts.
It's been like that for years tbh. At least since Araujo was promoted, because I remember people saying he shouldn't have that stamp.

Stop promoting a guy that will destroy the club ONCE and for ALL, and will be worse than Bartomeu even

Corrupted to the bone, toxic twat in everything he does in life, and has OPENLY DECLARED that he wants to turn the club into CLUB DE AMIGOS, essentially transplanting to board level the toxic culture he and the others created in the dressing room

It's politics. The opposition speaks the truth until the moment they take over.

Also it's manoeuvre to put pressure on Laporta to admit mistakes. Which would make him appear weak and trigger a vote of no confidence. Laporta is not that stupid.

That's the biggest issue with Font.

Everyone in the world can point out the club's problems and the issues with the current board, but he's never once suggested what he would do differently or what his solution to the problems would be.

His plan during the elections was a joke as everyone knows. 80% of the people he was bringing alongside him jumped ship to Laporta and his sporting plan was basically to hand over the club to Xavi.

Even when it came to stuff like finances the people Laporta brought alongside him like Ferran Reverter and Eduard Romeu were far more experienced and well established than anyone he had in mind.

Font tried to play the intelligence card, but he felt it didn't work.

He then became a populist, and he isn't good at it.

He should have stick to his whole futuristic guy and improved on it.
