why was bert van marwijk commenting on jds in the first place?
although i agree with what he said about jds.
but my guess is that he is still young..thats why he takes the safe route to build confidence

He wasnt commenting on JDS, read the news section.:)

It's either a brain fart which will be realized and fixed or a sore loser who probably doesn't deserve to be on the team. If this happens when Jonathan may be told Thiago's better than he (may or may not happen), I'd love to see the door shut on him...

Improvin' Perfection!!
Jona needs to employ a professional for his manager! These family managers always spoil careers!!

But Jona's agent/father did seem cool when negotiating an extension with the board... I mean when Thiago who's a year younger then JDS was demanding a regular first team place, JDS seemed cool about his chances!!

Anxiously waiting for the next match
We really should get his contract sorted and maybe loan him out (if we buy cesc) to a new La liga team so he'll play ALOT

That would be perfect alright, no point in keeping both him and Thiago as back up for a year if they can gain experience elsewhere

How often to do loan out a player and he actually returns to the club?, 9 times out of 10, thats means thats it for them at barca, we would much rather keep them in house and develop them the barca way.

Well, while I'd agree that this is not a formula that has proven successful for Barca, I'd counter that Barca simply doesn't do this very often in the manner it was intended...Typically, they've offloaded players on loan who they deemed surplus, not necessarily because they were hoping for the player to mature or benefit from additional playing time....I clearly think there can be an advantage to loaning a youth player who Barca feel every bit confident has a future at the club...Seasoning abroad shouldn't be synonymous with becoming an outcast
