How would you guys compare him to Oriol Romeu? I don't think I have seen enough of them to make a fair comparison, except Romeu seems to be more used to play DM-ish, or am I wrong?

i thought he played fairly well today he seemed more involved in the first half the last 15 min i didnt even see him touch the ball. but these were great minutes loged in for him hope he gets more this season

From what I saw, he looked like he was doing good. I didn't get to see the whole game, but he had his moments.

I've been a fan of the kid for a couple of years now but I felt like he looked out of his depths last night, tbh...Telegraphed passes left & right...For a DM for Barca, it's simply strange to see a DM give the ball away that often...I thought he did a pretty good job sticking to Ronaldinho though...He had his badger moments but it's the ball distribution that failed him, IMHO...Perhaps it was nerves or perhaps he's simply got a ways to go yet

I thought he was absolutly brilliant in that first 30 minutes and IMO hes ready to step to the first team, even earlier than the more talented Thiago who has yet to impress me with his decision making.

I'll have to rewatch but from what I recall, I vividly remember JDS giving balls away far too cheaply...especially in buildups
