Jordi got owned by Lucas, not some shit player. Lucas is one of the most pacy and fastest players out there. It happens some times, especially when you have to play all the time in the attack to provide width

Watching his game against PSG, I don't think it'd be a bad idea to go in for Ricardo Rodriguez in 2016. Or you know, at least play Montoya/Mathieu at rb/lb in a pair with Alba or Alves respectively.

I have also entertained this idea but I think Rodriguez would be way too slow for us.

I am not a fan of Alba and if you play him you really need to get a defensive right back. I'd prefer Mathieu at lb in the CL with Pique/Batra and Vermaelan as the CBs.

Jordi Alba is our liability, atleast in big-games. Now with Busquets in crap form we cannot have two attack minded fullbacks trying to dribble like Messi. I have concerns with Alves too, but will like to talk about Alba here. He has to sort it out. He was outstanding vs AC Milan(4-0 win) {Nah, I am not talking about the goal here, he was very good). People say he played well vs City too (But Man City didn't prefer to attack via Navas(I.e Alba side). He is the weak link and most notably, Jose Mourinho, Scolari all have targeted him in big matches. Nah, I am not calling him the worst player after the match vs PSG. If you guys really want the "old model" back where one fullback attacks and the other sits deeper, then you should be talking about someone to replace Alves not Alba.
Jordi is world class and this season he is arguably our best player behind only Messi so far. For me he should be and rightfully is a sure starter.

Prime Alves was a much better defender than Alba. Alba can be awesome sometimes but he needs to work on his defending. He really got shit on by Lucas and Pastore.
