Alba is such a dumb footballer. His decision making whenever he has the ball can be shocking very often. When he is as frustrated as today he genuinely appears dislikable.
Lucky not to get send off too for those two blatant kicks.
Opppostion fans must dislike him and I can't blame them.

I used to like him a lot when he joined Barça. What happened to him? Has his attacking play become worse or was it always like this`?
Anyway, I think it's clear we need 2 new full backs. When we win games as easily as in the last few weeks, the Alba's weaknesses tend to be overlooked. It's in close games like this one where they're exposed.

Alba has never been that great. He is really poor defensively and his final ball is absolutley shocking.

Spot on, I felt the exact same way you did when he first came to Barca.
I think we have to get rid of him as soon as possible, liability on defense and with his aggressive temper, whilst doing nothing really impactful on offense.

I've said before I was always iffy on his transfer. Not everyone who went to La Masia should be here. That being said, I don't want him gone but maybe a WC leftback who can challenge him with a real possibility of winning the spot.
And thank goodness the ref didn't see those 2 kicks. Very dirty and not the 1st time he has done something like this. What if that would have happened in a CL semi and the ref red carded him?

I've always said that the only thing he can do is just to run, and he can't persuade me he is not just a headless chicken. Sure, he was amazing when he first came but his chemistry with Iniesta hided his obvious weaknesses.

For the last few years I have argued that Alba is massively over rated and got torn to bits for saying he cant defend or cross and the like of Marcelo are much better.
Teams actively target his side of the pitch all the time for a reason.

Yet we conceded because of Alves, for the billionth time. Interesting.
Alba is often unreliable in defence, but the fact is, we've been damaged much more from Alves's side, that's a no brainer.

Yeah Alves fucked up by trying to be too causal but even now is way ahead as a full back than Alba is in almost everything but energy.

Alba is a superior defender, even with his frequent brainfarts and unreliability. And he has shown he can be absolutely perfect in defense when he's concentrated and instructed to play defensively.

No he isnt. Alba is an absolutely terrible defender and teams target him for both Barca and Spain.
He is far worse positionally than Alves when both are back.
