Very good game. The dive was laughable tough and he really needs to cut that out but I doubt he ever will. If he would be a bit clever at least, his shit would work sometimes. But it just too obvious.

I don't understand all the hate that Alba gets..This guy rans his ass in every game and always gives 100% of his efforts. His positioning sometimes is poor, but his speed and workrate are more than enough to cover his weaknesses. Please name some LB you think are Barca quality.

Alba was absolutely class tonight minus the dive. Some people are never satisfied in here... spoiled brats. That's the barcaforum way though. For me, his energy, positioning, intensity, focus, technical ability, runs into the area, speed, short passing are all top class.

Seriously, as Pepe Silvia points out, he has many great qualities. Which makes it all the more frustrating when he bangs the ball blind into an opponent's body over and over. He appears to have more than enough quality to be trickier, so it's baffling that he does it so often.

Unfortunately his contract ends this summer and it doesn't seem like it'll be renewed.

I don't know about his situation with Rayo but he has got the expected results from the team he had .he didn't underachieve and his team football is standout and liked by the fans in general
If they let him go I am pretty sure he will get another team sooner rather than later
Worst case for him ,don't get offer from team in Liga and we appoint him for Barca B

Doubt he'd accept an offer to coach the B team... he'll probably have much better offers from top leagues teams.
