Great news indeed. 10 days isn't very long and he can rest at the time too. We have him ready against PSG and that is very important.

I was really worried when I heard about his injury. Thank God he will be out for only 10 days. We should consider ourselves lucky over that. It means that he will miss the pointless friendly against the Dutch, and also our fixtures against Celta Vigo away and Almeria at home. I am guessing that he will probably be available for Sevilla away and surely against PSG away.

Passable and world class are two very different things. Madrid has players for every position who are, at the very least, passable. Arbeloa. Khedira. Coentrao. Varane. Keylor. Jese. All players who, if played, would not leave their fans in full panic mode over how screwed they are if they have to play. It's really not that hard.

Those are just big names, not good bench players, with the exception of Varane and Navas all are horrible right now. Madrid fans are complaining about their thin bench all the time.

Montoya wasn't happy when Lucho was systematically ostracizing him from the team (Even going as far as to play Lord Douglas over him in a big away game), but now? He's pretty happy. He saw his playing time increase to what a squad player could expect and since then we haven't heard a peep from him.

And what is he supposed to do? He did not impress anybody, it's very likely the interest of his suitors dried up. And he's still playing very rarely.

Who is asking for TOP PLAYERS for every position? We don't even have someone SERVICEABLE. Adriano is highly injury prone and is lacking in both attack and defense. Mathieu is not the kind of player we employ at the LB position. Having a LB who can actually play LB when the starter is injured is NOT too much to ask for.

Name some examples, available, quality players, that won't cost enormous money, willing to come here and sit on our bench. Oh, and they must fit our style of play.

Good news. We will definetly be alright without him against Almeria. Should have enough to get through the Celta game aswel but it will be a tough match.

Glad it's not long term. Rest up. A class act.

Not that i wish injuries upon your players, but man you are always so lucky with injuries. When our players get injuried, they are out for 4 months minimum.

It's just this season. And Lucho's new training regimen, rotations, and luck play a huge part.
