Jordi Alba

Difficult to see who to replace him with.

Bernat has been good this season and has a year left.... swap with Todibo Mr PSG?

Theo Hernandez been class for Milan although ex Real and turned down Barca before. Would quite like a nuttter like him in side though.

Bernat is good driving forward. Defensively, he has a very similar profile to Jordi, good on sliding tackles but so so holding the ball, when pressed, his modus operandu is feigning an injury and hoping the ref will blow him. His end product is often weakish, his first touch often letting him down and ruining actions.

Overall, compared to current Alba, they're on par. Bukayo Saka, though a newcomer, already shows more game and versatility than both.

Would also be worth giving Firpo more playtime. He knows how to dribble and he's pretty fast. So let's see if he can shine under Ronnie.

Saka is not a left back even though played there a few times.

Tierney is Arsenals left back and probably second best in league behind Robertson.

Correct but Saka filled the spot pretty good when Tierney was side-lined. The idea of picking smart wingers and using them as FBs/WBs is tempting and could bear fruit. ie what Bayern did with Davies

Saka is too small and not powerful enough for what top clubs are looking for in full backs these days.

Same reason no top clubs are touching likes of Grimaldo when he is massively over rated each year as some top class FB waiting to be plucked from Benfica.

c'mon he's 178cm and only 18. He can still fill out. Same height as Kieran. Davies is 181

If that's too small, how about Alba...

Saka wont end up at left back it is not his position and for me he is too small and not powerful enough anyway.

Tierney is an ox with with a great leap. Cant compare the two.
