I was being sarcastic. Ofc he was to blame for the goal. Great strike? Of course. But it wasn't unstoppable. Pinto took way too much time to react.

Absolutely hideous error with the goal. To get beat from that distance and at the near post is just not acceptable.

It's not as if the ball dipped on him and was perfectly in the corner. Diego's shot was hit flat and never went above the height of the cross-bar. I think Pinto just wasn't paying attention like he should have been.

I had little confidence in him before, and I have even less confidence now, and I'm not just talking about the goal.

He probably should have been positioned better but it was a ridiculously good strike by Diego. Hard to blame him for it. However, he is an accident waiting to happen when the ball is at his feet.

I agree with my espn commentator said. It was a shot most gk's would not get. Just the top keepers. I'm sure VV would had saved it.

That shot was unexpected and caught him unaware, but that's more to Diego's credit than Pinto's failure in my opinion...

Victor might've responded better to the shot but hard to fault Pinto on that one, IMO...It was simply a wonder strike, little you can do

I think it is not easy to to save such a very well taken and lucky shot in one... I'm not saying Pinto defended very well but that shot was very hard to deflect.

As far as I know VV is shorter than Pinto and though faster, better overall and with better reflexes I really don't think he would have saved it...
