I'm not so sure about that. During his later period at RM they played a fairly efficient brand of intense attacking football. At Bayern he'd walk the league and content for the ChL however he chose to play, and I doubt many around the club would mind a change in style from what Pep is practicing.

Yeah, Mou's 11/12 RM played very similar to Heynckes's 12/13 Bayern.
