José Mourinho

Respect? For what taking over yet another team with unlimited funds? Adidas just pumped a billion into them it's not like he is taking over arsenal or spurs. Please this is the same old Mou taking over a club where he could buy 200 mill a year.

You mean like with Inter Milan?

Man Utd's deal was 2 years ago, and what did they achieve with it? Spent millions and the still have a shitty team. They are nowhere near unlimited funds, and even so, they might not make the CL this season, so they will have even more difficulties in attracting talent.

Taking over Arsenal is a far easier challenge than United at this stage.

Anyway, if Mourinho were taking over a club with unlimited funds he would take over PSG.

At Inter they had money, he spent almost 100 mill first year getting Eto which he actually made money on due to Ibra going our way, Milito, Sneijder, Lucio. The man only knows how to buy not to develop. He'll have that same money at United and will buy at least 100 mill first year. No chance the starting 11 when he starts at United is the crappy one they got now.

Poor Juan Mata, he's gonna get sold again lol. It would be weird for him to work with the manager who sold him because he wasn't needed. Also, imagine if Victor Valdes was Man United's 2nd GK and would play for Mourinho. I still remember that time when he was stopping him from celebrating at Camp Nou lol.

Like you said, half the money he spent in Inter Milan was thanks to Barça's stupidity in giving him Eto'o + 46 million. Don't try to twist that against him, or act as if Inter Milan had any financial power that could be compared to what Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Chelsea or Bayern Munich had at the time.

Mourinho is taking over a team whose squad is vastly inferior to that of City, Arsenal, and Chelsea (among others) and with no advantage over them at all in the next transfer window (financially or otherwise).

Bringing them back to former glory is no easy task.

Also, Mourinho has never develop a talent into world class player.

Not the topic of discussion.

I wouldn't say inferior to Arsenal and Chelsea no way. Van gaal just has them playing way below par. United just need a striker and some defenders. Gunners have Sanchez who is head and shoulders above anyone at United or Chelsea really. Chelsea with a slack hazard, ruined Costa and lazy cesc peaked already.

Extremely ironic to criticise Mourinho for taking over a rich team when our beloved Pep has actually just signed for the country's strongest and richest club ... yet again.

And in what world is United's squad comparable to Arsenal's, let alone Chelsea or City? Arsenal's team is a lot stronger and balanced (that's key here) than United's with 50 year old Shrek, Fellaini playing part-time striker and overhyped talents like Depay. Can't believe how average their team is after spending all this amount of money.

If Mourinho signs with United, i'm honestly hoping he's going to get trashed again by Pep with City.

Can't ever bring myself to root for that POS. He gouged the eye of Villanova ffs. Not to mention countless other pathetic, disgusting displays of behavior.

It's strange that fans of Barcelona would root for someone like that stain. Would understand rooting for United against City, with anybody else at the helm, but not Mourinho. Hell, now i root for ManU against City, would be on the fence next year with Pep in charge, but would absolutely want Utd to get trashed by everyone and their mothers + their dog.

Hopefully he'll fail to have an impact, miss top 4 next season, have a spat with some players, Charlton or whoever, like usual, and get the boot. :)

6 Ballons for Messi

but what if he wins 7??
I think mou is broken.
He has been broken since the manita, until then he was playing with various styles, trying to get the job done. After that he became a caricature of himself, always playing very scared in big games even when his team was the favorite on paper.
Always underperformed as well after inter, 1 league with the most expensive squad in the world in 3 years with real, 1 league with chelsea with 2 ridiculous and embarrassing performances in europe and a complete implosion in this last season all down to him.
I rly think pep broke mou and it's gonna get even uglier now if he goes to man.u.

Looking at the squad united has I don't think united made a wrong decision with mou. They didn't have much choice left though. I am curious what will happen to players like depay martial and shaw. Rooney hardly is the striker he would like. Who will he sign? It is interesting. Just hope both city and united stay away from barca players.

Will probably do really well with a lot of money, problem is he plays worse football than LVG at times, De bruyne and Lukaku, and his youth record is appalling. And right now our hopes are pinned on players like Martial and Depay. The right person Klopp.

I don't think Shaw or Martial would need to worry under Mourinho. He wanted Shaw at Chelsea and I doubt he'd view Martial as a risk any more. I wouldn't count on him going out of his way to give Memphis chances though.

How you figure? he turned it around and we never dominated them again until the 0-4 recently, and over time they even become stronger than us with Mou. basically around early 2012.
He also won la liga in dominant fashion with record breaking points (thanks to the corrupt refs but thats the same every year) while we bested them almost every year since 08.
Would have won la decima as well had Ronaldo and Kaka been able to take penalties and won epl with Chelsea convincingly.
He did get exposed as a short term manager and made a fool of himself this season.
I dont mind him going to United but dont consider him damaged. I dont want him in la liga though, not because of fear but since he is so annoying and tiresome with his act.
Also hope we dont end up buying Mata as a result, let him join Atletico.
