What do you mean again? Man Utd have never dominated europe. England yes. Europe no. There is only one English team that has dominated europe and it isn't Man Utd.
Yep,and that's Liver pooooool!

I'll take Liverpool over Utd anyday and I'm not a fan of the epl by any stretch of the imagination.

I think Mourinho has done the unthinkable and burnt himself out not only his players.
He is such a high strung drama queen that his antics are taking a toll on him.
He should go back to Porto and renew himself after a year. Go back to the basics of how to build a team.

We were briefly considered the best team in Europe before 2009 Final and reached 3 finals in 4 years despite spending nothing..Liverpool's dominance came in an era where winning in Europe was easier because there were only a few teams in the competition and Liverpool being utterly dominant in the domestic scene meant they were always one of the 3-4 teams likely to win the competition...For example Liverpool only had to win 5 games in 1984 CL final to become the champion and one of those games was against Odense...

Mourinho receives a formal job offer from Ibis Sport Club, a Brazilian club that calls itself "The Worst Club in the World". They haven't won a game in 4 years.

They still dominated Europe, unlike Man United.

If Pep goes City n Mou to Utd it would certainly be interesting, but wouldn't it be a better fit the other way around ?

Utd's tradition of flair and attacking football = Pep.City more pragmatic and measured approach = Mou.

I know that's a very over simplified analysis, but still....

I don't think Pep is the kind of guy who would want a long-term move.... And United are desperately in need of one such guy! Sort of like a SAF or Wenger!! There's a bloody good reason David Moyes got that chance not so long ago

And what is the reason Van Gaal got the job? I doubt they saw him as a manager who can be in the club for 10+ years. Mourinho isn't a long term move also and he is linked with taking over United. Only long term move would be Giggs.
