If I was Fergie, I'd watch what he's eating/drinking...and not to accept any 'gifts' from Mourinho...that or Mou already has a copy of SAF's latest neurological eval

No way he is leaving Madrid for now.

Anything other than Madrid (bar Barca of course) would be a step down.

Maybe City, since they have the money?

Mancini has to get sacked, but the bosses seem fond of him, it boggles my mind really... City have the potential to be playing far better football and would be a real threat to us if they had a better coach (Mou). Still i would love him to move there and leave our league. Bring Mancini to RM

City are actually playing very good football... they were second only to us last season, in terms of passes completed and possession, such stuff. Not saying that it is the measure of how good a game is though. They play free-flowing football and create numerous chances.

They are only lacking the mentality... it is why they bottled in the CL

They got totally schooled by Bayern at possession football at the Alianz arena. 85% of the attacks they buildup are pointless and never get anywhere, they lose possession too easy against weaker opponents. They arent playing at the level they should be, considering the players they have at their disposal.

I believe it's not all about money, had it been so, he would have gone to Anzhi Machakachacklalckalckla.

First of all it's about a competetive team. Secondly it's about money. Mourinho needs heaps of cash to put his ideas into effect. Basically it's between United, City, Madrid and maybe Munich.

Ferguson announced today that he will be coaching for at least 3 more years, if his health remains blossoming..
This will probably be the case.
And it means that his successor will be entering old trafford on the summer of 2015..
This is 3 more seasons and i bet my money that Mourinho is not going to stay - that long - to Madrid for various reasons, even if he manages to outclass barcelona untill then (which is not what will happen).
So two are the major likelihoods:
1) he joins city either this summer or the next one to replace mancini and automatically he loses the chance to coach united in his career.
2) - more likely to happen- he joins another team probably next summer, stays for two years and then lands in manchester to establish his 7-10 year reign in united..
What this team will be? it will be IMO a team of another league - not one of his past leagues England, Italy, Spain portugal - ..
Either Ligue1 or Bundesliga.. And most likely either pariSG or Bayern munich.. he will win for sure two legaue titles and maybe a CL those two years..

3 years is an eternity for someone 70 years old...I wouldn't be so quick to assume he'll see that contract out - things can change in an instant

When I referred to money, I did not have in mind Mou's salary, but the club's ability in landing world class players. That is why he is not leaving Madrid that easy. Where can he find a roster like that?
