The Observer
Mou dividing opinions in the Bernabeu... while the ultras were hailing him with songs, parts of the crowd jeered. The same happened when they sang 'kill them, Pepe'
His somewhat weaker position than in the other clubs isn't that strange for a couple of reasons:
1. The RM coach lacks power (Mou changed this a bit, but still) in the dressing room compared to the old players (like Casillas, and Raul used to (hence they sold him))
2. Spanish fans generally dislike his philosophy
3. The SB crowd is one of the most demanding in the world (you need to win titles and play offensive, positive football) because they consider their rightful position to be on top of the footballing world. Anything less than being the best team in the world is insufficient.

Ultra's whistled him last night for a while till Callejon goal
The problem (and we discussed that before he joined Real and right after it and when some of you said he will change RM ..etc ) that we have seen better , we have won more trophies than him so there is nothing he can do except add to the trophy cabinet
It was different with Chelsea with almost minimum history so all he added was amazing considering who they are in English football before he arrived , Inter had a really dry spell in the CL since Il Grande Inter in the 60's but what can you add to a club like RM ? 5 CL in a row ? couple of league trophies ? all achieved so there was nothing to impress us except try to win trophies from the current stronger club "Barca "

We don't dislike his philosphy except in the clasico FYI , he did some great things like getting back and playing Callejon who is scoring regularly now, Benzema transformation , reaching the semi-final of the CL , Making Real at least second best team in the world (which we are IMHO )

but as you said we are demanding and we will always look for the next step and that's what it is expected from him surely this year .. they expected a lot better from him in the first leg , my sentiments after the game is probably shared as well by our SB faithful , while we are ok losing the super cup as it was done in an honorable and exciting way (2-2,3-2 ) the first league game and the first leg aren't what our fans expected and what they did last night was a warning shot ..
last night he played all the ball players on the pitch (granero,Kaka,Ozil ..etc ) which is what we wanted in the first leg not the 3 destroyers .. we will not have any problems if he field the 3 destroyers away in Camp Nou but in SB ? NO at least not in the second year

A league title for Madrid in general, does not mean very much. It is like Olympiacos winning it in Greece, Rosenborg winning it Norway. It is the most normal of outcomes. Winning a league against the current Barca side, is much more important though. But the shocking lack of success against that same Barca side, entirely evaporates all the good work from leading the league.

As much as Real Madrid have won throughout their history, they have been seriously starved of European success in the past 10 years or so. So the one thing that will truly lift spirits at SB, is to win the CL, which is the true measure of all great clubs, by far the most prestigious trophy in club football, the hardest to conquer and the one nobody will ever tire of winning.

Only the CL winner, can truly brag.

"I don't have a bad relationship with any team-mate. We coexist in training sessions, pre-match gatherings and games, like all other squads. I may get angry with someone one particular day, or someone may get angry at me, but it's not something to dwell on. There are no problems between the Spaniards and Portuguese on the squad. I find it quite absurd also because there happens to be Brazilian players amongst the so-called Portuguese group." ~Iker Casillas~

Doesn't look like he's denying the recent stories happened. More like trying to be politically correct.

Yep, that bolded part actually kinda confirms it...

"Mourinho has insisted he is "not bothered" by some of his own fans whistling and booing him during last night's win against Athletic Bilbao."

Even on Punto Pelota he gets criticised. I also saw a video where a studio guest on Punto Pilto raged about Mourinho for 2 minutes. Ah, just found it:
