Josep Maria Bartomeu

Wow you're on fire.

To prove your little prediction wrong, i don't have a fixed opinion on your question because it is unanswerable.

Keep repeating my point on Zubi makes no sense - you're all alone, man. But you like it this way, right.
I'm almost tempted to make a poll to see if my point made sense or not, since you defy logic only universal disagreement can shut you off.
I'm done with this for good

Let me just ask you one thing Jamdav, this coming summer, Who do you wish to get elected? If you honestly believe Bartomeu is the best candidate ,considering how bad our sporting side had been till the last 6 months, let alone management, I'm done trying to draw a line with a stick on the beach.

What has been so bad about the sporting side? Why discount last six months?

Barcelona have no divine right to win competitions especially when in same league as Real Madrid.

For presidency I dont really have a preference as take view its up to members who they want. I just dont agree with hypocritical arguments to make one look bad and others look good.

What has been bad about our sporting side? Oh man.

If there is anyone worthy enough to stand upto Madrid, it's us. If we take up the last decade into consideration, we have thumped them to a point of desperation.

Why would anyone here have a personal agenda against our clubs President and Ex President? It is simply because of how they have run things. You're true to s certain point, saying Bartomeu can't be blamed for everything Rossel has done, but to me, they have dragged our face to gutter and are not worthy to stand up for election again. They face s good chance to get sentenced for the love of God. But then again, that is upto the socios to decide and we can only hope they do the right thing.

Good day mate.

Was in my ignore list a long time ago. He always goes circles around arguments. only see his posts when people reply to him. If it was up to me, Bartomeu would not be at the club right now or have any chance to run for president

Freixa and the majority of the board. Their meeting was well covered by the catalan press.

Majority of the board? Aren't they appointed by Rosell? Why they would resign to put the pressure on Barto if they are the same gang. I heard that argument from you many times before and still it doesn't make any sense to me. We have 2 major candidates and both are corrupt, so I don't have a preference between 2. Actually I still need hear Laporta's program. If he promises to bring his porn-star wife/girlfriend as coach I'll root for him. It doesn't matter who's the coach anyways-all the games are won by individual brilliance of our players-at least we will see nice piece of ass every week.

Barto takes as much credit for Lucho being appointed as Laporta does with Pep.

Delegating to those under you to make decisions is something every president will do. If they do that and get it right then they get the credit for it if it goes wrong they get the blame. Thats the way it works.

this whole delegating crap again, i remember it from a few years ago.lol

laporta gets credit for pep, luis, and everything good that has happened to the club in recent years.

everything good, has laporta's finger prints there somewhere

I still can't believe we're arguing if this crook should be our next president. Not even a treble could make me forgive them for dragging our club through nud

Npt even sure what point you are trying to make.

Laporta gets credit for Luis?

It's too funny that some give all credit for positive things to Laporta but conviniently omit Txiki.
On the other hand, Bartomeu can't get any credit for good stuff, it's all Zubi.

Kindergarten logic.

And yeah, let's forget that Sandro was a part of Laporta board and guy who brought Ronaldinho when Laporta fell flat on his ass with his promise of Beckham. Forget half the board leaving in Laporta's tenure. Forget Budunkyor or whatever it's called. Forget spygate. Forget everything bad he did.

He's a cool bloke banging a pornstar let's have him.

If the majority wouldn't step down, nothing would happen. You're forgetting that back then hell was on. Messi liking Chelsea's ig, Messi missing the open training, fifa ban, anoeta, etc. Freixa convinced the other board members they'd be toasted if nothing was done, and he was right. Calling elections eased up the turmoil.

Also, so what rosell appointed them? Rosell himself used to be laporta's ally. That argument is something that makes no sense.

There must be a lot of links to it then. Do you have any?

Still dont think it makes any sense for them to threaten to resign if no elections.

Google it, you'll find plenty. Barto had a meeting with Freixa, Vilarrubi and other board members hours before calling elections. He wasn't keen on doing it. Messi's actions had a good weight in helping Freixa, deliberately or not. The board is torn for a while now, and Freixa is one that lost a lot since barto became the president.

Frexia was ousted from the power by Barto, what makes you think he has a such influence over board members. There are 1-2 articles about Frexia being so brave and forcing Barto to call re-elections, but let's face the fact that Frexia himself is running for president and could be part of his campaign. I don't believe board members "toasted if nothing was done" theory either, because if the only concern was to maintain their position they would not call re-election. They could perfectly reside as board members for another 2 years even if Barca had 2 horrendous years.Instead now there's uncertainty with re-elections, where's the guarantee that Laporta will keep the current board members, especially when the current board approved the investigation and the lawsuit against Laporta.
