He has to back us in the next couple of transfer windows. We need squad depth and reinforcements badly
The trouble there is if he does back us in the next few windows it will add even more to the downfall of la masia

That's the concern mate and I see what you mean so won't even try and argue your point dos it's a strong one but given our current circumstance, I don't see an option. I posted above earlier today about my concerns about la Masia under bartomeu so I guess it's somewhat hypocritical of me now and I'll take it on the chin but our squad has about all the depth of a paddling pool so has to be strengthened

Not sure todays game was any great sign of lack of depth.
It was the starting players who let the team down for the most part and the back up players who came on to win the game.
To me the depth is there but certain areas like CM the starters are not top level. Barca dont have a world class CM these days and that would be unheard of a few years ago.

Its a vicious circle i suppose we could maybe bring in a few older experienced players to add some much needed depth to the squad for a few seasonswhile also leaving the oppurtunity for la masia graduates to come through an get sufficient minutes

Last year we had very few with same medical team . it is really easy to just blame doctors for injuries .sometimes it is just fatigue ,tackles or players being actually injury prone
Iniesta ,Vermaelen injuries are nothing new ,Rafinha suffered from vicious tackle .Messi never getting a rest .all a bit expected

Also ,I don't think we can rate Bartomeu new tenure .
The guy helped us to revive this team and win the treble ,let's give him credit for that .
But there is a need to work more on La Masia .the standard have fallen tbh . there is also work need to be done in the market .so far just 2-3 months passed from his 6 years he was elected as president

To me we need another midfielder, an attacker and obvously a backup lb.
Gundogan and Nolito. Imagine getting those two along with Turan and Vidal in Jan.. Instant quality injected to the squad.

Yeah we would be on track for a treble if we are still in the right position.
We also need an lb, Adriano is done and we cant have Matthieu/Vermaelen solutions unless in games w eare easily winning.

Can't see us doing the Treble back to back.Just can't see it.
As things stand, we might challenge for La Liga n possibly Copa but that's wishful thinking on my part.

Its not totally impossible. At our best we are among the strongest 3 in Europe, we could easily end up winning the liga, same with the copa if thinsg go well.
But I would be happy if we won just la liga or the cl to be honest.
