Also said rules should be changed for referee to take retrospective action in relation to Espanyol keeper.

If our fucking president speaks out against these things then officials might be tempted to go easier on opposition when these situation occur to Barca in the future, where we all know Real Madrid will take whatever they can get out of the refs to win penalties.

The rule is correct, it needs no changing. A penalty can be missed. Bartomeu probably should had kept quiet.

Coaches will say that, as they would dread to see it happen to their team. Imagine if suarez wasn't red carded in that game against Ghana. Rule is fine.

Deliberate hand ball on the line could be intepreted differently. That is a professional foul to deliberately stop a goal.
I dont like the rule and think it punishes teams twice in some circumstances.

Irazoiz also commited the foul to deliberately stop a goal. There's no difference. If this rule is changed, we'll see a lot more fouls in the box, as a penalty can be missed. And then the other team would be punished. The rule is fine as it is.

I dont think he deliberately fouled him tonight to stop a goal he was late into the challenge more than a calculated decision to stop a player getting a scoring opportunity.
If the rule is changed it would be to allow the referee to judge whether a genuine attempt to get the ball or just trying to foul.
There is a reason a lot of people dont like it and has been discussed about it being changed.

My point still remains. Barto is former perico & socio and thus I can't really imagine he hasn't retained some degree of sympathy for Asspanyol considering his past.

Not speaking out has nothing to do with any of that it is the same reason Luis Enrique doesnt speak out, why Neymar says he heard no chants, why Messi didnt speak about it after game.
