RM are in a better financial position. They've already begun their stadium redevelopment while we're at the point where I'm wondering if we'll ever commit to the Camp Nou project.
Their salary structure is better and they haven't blown off 100m on three players. A crock, a gutless player and sadly a misfit.

Yeah but Madrid has a President and a Manager who don't care as much about pleasing the seniors on their team.
You introduced two new players in your starting 11. Hazard (whos comparable to Griezmann - in my opinion a better player though) and Valverde (like Frenkie for us). Rest is pretty much even. Its only been a somewhat decent season for you (and us as well), because the other team is just as bad.

All true. The past ten years Real managed everything so much better, while we had the team of the generation.

They are pretty much in the same rebuild phase as we are. No idea whats to envy there, they play slightly better football right now though .
As for us: we need to make a deep cut. A trophyless season could help, but with this board (and Corona) I dont have much hope. And shockingly from our attackers Messi and Suarez are still the two most dependableEveryone else (Griezmann, Braithwaite, Coutinho, Dembele) should be fair game.
They are in much better position in my opinion: Having the vision to sign some of the brightest young players instead of throwing hundreds of millions on some overpriced and age 27 and beyond players and praying they would work out, and a result having youth/young players in almost every position lining up to replace the old guards (not saying every one of them will make it, of course), having the vision to lock down cheap loans for their stadium renovation so they will get a head start in revenue generation in 3 to 5 years while it is going to be even harder for us to find banks that would finance our Espai Barca project. Real Madrid has a project and a vision, what do we have? Praying that Messi still has some gas left in his tank?
Yes they are in a rebuild and we haven't even started it (the rebuild starts when Messi is gone). We barely are keeping up with a Ronaldo-less Real Madrid side in the middle of a rebuild. That says something. Imagine what will happen when they are gone with their rebuild and we start our own, that is what is going to happen in the next several years. Brace yourself fellow Cules. It is going to get bad.
Yes, Real Madrid managed everything so much better that Barcelona won everything in Spain every season.

Lets take off our Barca glasses and see the situation clearly. RM doesn?t pay their seniors 12-20 mill a year, kroos/Marcelo/modric don?t start every match, and Zidane has complete freedom to do whatever he wants with his players . They are doing so well financially that they can still afford to buy multiple superstars next season if they please.
We are basically riding on the 2015 team thinking we are still champions.

Perfectly said about 2015.. That's the issue. Mamagemt and players probably still think they top of the world and no wonder, the way they are treated.

Real are also level with a Barca in a shambles and heading out the CL last 16 for second season running after finishing third last season.
Lets not go over the top about how great they are.

Basically, new management needs to come in and clean the closet. Start fresh. We have too many free riders etc. It will be terrible process but we won't be winning anything big with this te anymore.

The next board will come in and there wont be a clear out.
No one wants to be the ones who pissed off Messi or other legendary players and be known for the ones who saw the end of time at Barca.
We can talk when Real actually put their money to a good use (in the near future). Squadwise, right now, its close. They even have a very comparable wing problem (on the other side)

Then we need new fans too. At some point you have to realize teams need change. It's too old, slow and unmotivated.
