I dont get why they arent after Fresneda. Would probably cost less and it's a better gamble considering his age and expected ceiling.

Absolutely hate it when managers indoctrine themselves to a specific target season after season. This one offers nothing going forward and doesn't solve anything that Kounde can't offer at RB- being a converted CB himself.

That's why you never let managers handpick players. They should tell Xavi that while it's his project, he's not their boss. Sign Fresneda or Arnau Martinez or Cancelo if on loan and no obligatory signing a year later.

Luckily for us, Villarreal have had a shit ton of income this summer and are demanding buyout clause.

Would probably buy Fresneda if we signed Foyth from them anyways and re-sell to the EPL for double in a few years anyways :lol:
