Both Mata & Silva dropped form for a looong time last season, Silva has carried it over to the start of this season aswell, Cazorla has had the brightest start out of the Spaniards in the Premiership no question.

Since Mata came back from his 2 week break, he has been immense, he has 4 goals and 4 assists in his last 4 games, no question Mata has been better than Cazorla, you could clearly see that in the Arsenal v Chelsea games as well, Arsenal couldn't handle Mata whereas Cazorla got dominated by Mikel and Ramires.

Yeah Mata dropped form toward the end of last season. Can't blame him in the CL though, we didn't play in a way that suited him in the least, obviously.

He's definitely the in-form EPL Spaniard right now.

Deserves more playing time for Spain. It's incredible the talent Del Bosque has at his disposal in midfield and attack. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Juan Mata, David Silva, Santi Cazorla, Pedro, Villa, Torres, Llorente, Soldado, Negredo, Jesus Navas, etc.

Mata is class player and comes across like a really nice guy. Even though i hate Chelsea, Im a Mata fan. It was great to see him destroy Walker for the fourth goal as 10 minutes before that goal Walker slammed the ball on mata hard and went up to his face acting like a cvnt. 10 minutes later Mata raped him.....karma.

Also it will be interesting to see him, Oscar and hazards progress. Before this season i thought Hazard was better than him, but watching them in the same team mata seems to be the more well rounded footballer

It seems like there's a cycle with Spaniards in England that they get horribly overrated until the backlash hits until they are underrated. Mata isn't the best of the best but he's a very good player and Chelsea definitely need him.
