who is a challenger though? only city at CL level. and barca didn't reinforce the squad. apart maybe from having more experience.

let's cut the crap really. mbappe is the best player in the world and would come to real with something to prove. if that doesn't make you favorites then might as well stay at home and don't bother.

Not favourites is all. Top3-4 teams. Even 2 I would guess but volatile and could implode quite easy would be my guess. First season without Benz, oldies getting phased out, persisting defense issues etc

Benz was dead weight last season. And more opportunistic when compared to Kane and Mbappe.

Him being removed from that system will set the other players free. Plus Kane/Mbappe will be super motivated.

Top 2 teams alongside City.

City definitely worlds best team.

If Mbappe joins Real, they will be right up there. Looks like Bayern Munich are getting Kane.

On paper

Benz being 'dead weight' or physically done doesn't mean replacement system (and they're doing a diamond) will not take time to gel

Kane/Mbappe? Our starting striker, and actually only striker, will be Joselu.

Also, we need a new RB and LB(and no, Camavinga is not a LB), but Perez doesnt seem to care.

Even if we were to get Mbappe this summer, our squad has clear problems that needs to be adressed, not on the same level as City.

LB we should be fine for now. RB market is a barren wasteland so can't do much with that

Think with Bellingham we'll look much fresher and better in attack provided he stays fit. Might even have a better goals total by end of season than this last one just on back of novelty
But it's all speculation. I think we'll be more likely to choke a cup tie now but perform slightly better in league

Saw highlights clip of him vs Bilbao. Looked class, also scored. His childhood dream was to play for barca, had we not fucked up financially he could be here now.

He was MOTM. He'll be a fan favourite there in no time.

I thought he was overrated but he's been on fire so far. Making la liga look like the farmer's league it actually is.
All Madrids midfield are prototypical modern midfielders. Contrast this with our obsession with midgets who fall over, pass backwards and sideways and hardly score.
