Firmino doesn't start anything crucial for at least a year now. Started Atleti in groups, Benfica home when they've secured semis in first tie and the United game when they were shambles. Benched or injured otherwise.
Milner is done but dont need to get rid when is on lower salary and you'll otherwise have no backup. All teams have his type of player and is useful to have
Injuries can't always predict, they've done fine to keep up last season and have like 4 midfielders out right now at the same time. RM 20/21 situation when had no RB for like 3 weeks and had to play Fede there

When you have for instance 3 players that play the minutes of 1, you should count them in your squad as 1 and not 3.

In 22/23 he starts because Darwin is in and out and playing fairly average, he's their sub striker

Not nearly as big a deal as made out at all. Only other player to start is Fabinho which doesnt improve them going forward

Their depth held up in league every season in past 4 years bar injury to VVD
Klopp worked this way for a long time. Instead of going to market with which FSG is also stingy, coach prefers to gamble on Fabio Carvalho, Tsimikas, Minamino, Keita etc coming good and filling gaps with kids like Elliott, Jones, Phillips, earlier Gomez and even earlier trusting likes of Robertson, Trent.
Does need more players like Shaqiri (except actually fit for purpose) but not many, maybe 1-2 at most.
