Jürgen Klopp

Horatio

You're welcome
Love him. You can just tell that he's not even a lil bitter about Slot's immediate success. Klopp never chased success, trophies or all time great status. He doesn't give a fuck about how highly he's ranked in the best managers list. He could literally join ANY club in the world. Madrid, Barca, Bayern, etc would all welcome him with open arms but he chose ridiculously difficult projects and consistently performed miracles. GOAT stuff. @Birdy

Like clockwork. Called it.

Yes, this is one of the quotes I was referring to.

Yeah, Klopp gives the opponents more of a chance to win than Slot because of his style of play but we never got dominated under Klopp. You'd never see a team destroy us like PSG did under Klopp. We were always the superior Footballing team regardless of the scoreline.

Maybe Slot's style of play is better for certain trophies or a one off tie but Klopp's style of play was the definition of entertainment. Box office football. 🍿

This!
He would have never compromised, he would have never let his philosophy get tarnished.
That's why my respect for Klopp will always be as high as possible.

Let the plastic gloryhunter no-lifers chase the next bandwagon of success, before they jump off at the next turn to jump on another one.

@Birdy will be heartbroken.

Klopp doesn't fit Real Madrid's soulless culture whatsoever.

Klopp should replace Simeone at ATM and turn them into an interesting, entertaining, attacking club. Totally his type of club.

I will surely be heartbroken if this class figure, one of the pioneers of the sport, joins this classless club...

But I am super certain it won't happen for various reasons.
First, he is done with club management, only NTs from now on. Has said it between the lines.

but, above all, he would never join Madrid, for the reasons you say. He detests that culture

Something tells me he'll get bored eventually and want to return as a manager.

His brand of football at his best was amazing.

One of the few managers we've seen in our lifetimes who can bring a change of culture with him and raise fallen giants. Your charisma and leadership for this has to be off the charts.

Only criticism of him is that he lacked the ruthless, cutting edge to win more trophies (won plenty of games, just not many of the ones that define trophy cabinets).

If he will, it will probably be Leipzig or even BVB but I don't see it, he's not young anymore, people retire at his age. Maybe German NT if he gets bored.

In Spain he would fit Atleti, I agree with that but it will probably never happen.

He's 58 in June. Think he still has a good 10 years as a top coach, if he truly wants it. Probably doesn't though.

I would rather he goes to one of the fallen giants like Valencia instead of ATM to make La Liga a top 5 with RM, Barca, ATM, and Bilbao
He's too big for Valencia at this point in his career. Every big club wants him.

Just imagine what he could do with the likes of Alvarez in ATM. They would go from the most boring, unlikeable club to the most entertaining, fresh and exciting club.

True, but historically, Valencia is a big club in La Liga.

I like to focus more on improving the quality of the league as a whole rather than making the gap between the Top3/4 more bigger to the rest of the league.

Aren't they terribly run as a club? Pretty sure they had big financial issues a few years back? Klopp deserves better than that.

I have a soft spot for Valencia because of the Villa, Silva, Mata team and would love to see them back in the top 4. Maybe Scaloni can be the man to do that.........

I really liked players like Garay, Paulista, Gaya, Parejo, Gameiro and Kondogbia from recent Valencia teams.
