Karim Adeyemi

He's Messi fan boy so Barca is one of his favorite clubs. And in the end he says he'd like to play alongside Neymar, Mbappe, Lewandowski or obviously Messi.

He's going to PSG, lol.

No doubt Romero is a clown but sources from Germany have also reported we're in contact with his entourage and Adeyemi's agent was in Barcelona a few weeks ago (which I don't think any of Catalan media reported at the time). So I think we're genuinely interested (would probably have better chances to get him if Messi would still be here though) but of course this doesn't mean he'll actually sign for us.

I don't doubt contacts. I doubt we are any close to signing him.
Haaland came here with his dad some months ago. That's contacts, but we all know we can't afford him and he will end up elsewhere

Dortmund in pole position for Karim, then other clubs, and last is probably us

Smart move for him would be to join Dortmund, but you never know.

Don't think there's much to the Barca rumors, but I hope I am wrong....

🔸Karim Adeymi is a hot target for Bar?a.

🔹The club will present an offer of ?40m and a 5-year contract this week.

🔸No loan-deal is expected in the winter transfer window.

🔹Dortmund can pay only ?35m and a lower salary (?5m) but are still favorite. https://t.co/yrsDtEzyRd

According to SPORT1 information, Borussia Dortmund continues to have the best cards. And BVB wants to go to the limit of pain for Adeyemi. Dortmund offers the offensive player a five-year contract with an annual salary of five million euros and a transfer fee of 35 million euros including bonuses.

SPORT1 had already reported a few days ago that Xavi is a big fan of the 19-year-old and absolutely wants to guide him to FC Barcelona. Now Barca are igniting the next level.

According to SPORT1 information, the Spanish club is ready to pay 40 million euros for the national player to his club RB Salzburg. Barcelona wants to make the Austrians an offer this week.

Probably has less competition for a starting spot here than he would at Dortmund such is the state of our club.

True although with Haaland leaving and Malen starting this season poorly don't think he'd have that much competition at Dortmund either.

He'd be a starter in both teams anyway.

The question is which project is more intriguing. I kind of think we have a good shot.

He'd start at Dortmund, I'd be surprised if Malen is there come next season. He's been awful.

I can also see Haaland staying at Dortmund for at least another season or two.

Would love him at Barca though.

If there wouldn't have been a release clause, then sure. But I doubt all big clubs will avoid Haaland. It's too good of an opportunity for 75m.

Problem with Haaland is not a transfer fee but his wages, signing fee and commisions for his dad and Raiola. He could have a lot less clubs chasing him than most people believe due to excessive demands.

But of course we'll never know for sure how many clubs will really be in for him (in other words willing to pay whatever they'll want) as Raiola will surely make it public (leaked it through his media connections) that all 8 or so clubs that could potentially afford Haaland have made a great offer. Will surely also generate Newcastle interest (if they won't get relegated; but if they would be truly interested or not we all know he'd never go there) and use them as leverage to get more money out of the club that will eventually sign him.
