I don't expect much from him and I assume he will play just a couple of matches, maybe score 1-2 goals and leave in June.

Villarato!
People were bitching because of his price mostly. If it was 18m. like Vidal then I think more people would find the deal ok, but the reported price of 60m.?? It's too much.
I don't mind Rakitic being a key piece in EV's eyes if used correctly, but I think EV could be doing better with rotations, giving youth more opportunities and not burning out players like Rakitic.
Let's just agree to disagree as I don't want to derail the KPB's thread.

Don’t even think we’re disagreeing. Indeed he could be used better. So could Willian under Sarri.

Back on topic tho

well at least he is an alpha bad boy

he is either going to give a backheel pass or backheel assist in his first game , you heard it here first.

Can't wait till i'm proven right.

I don't give a fuck. I hope he does well.

He'll only play 5-10 matches anyway. Most of them not even for the full 90 minutes.

I dont even care anymore. We could have signed Peter Crouch and I would not have been surprised.

Watched the presentation and no negative surprises. I know him well from his time at AC Milan however he is nowhere near the same player. It's been 6-7 seasons now. My main complain has always been him not being the right fit tactically and him not being a natural goalscorer. So what was claimed to be the main goal of signing a Munir substitute, is hard for me to spot given his profile. Abidal saying, when asked about Malcom, that there is a possibility of him leaving just confirmed some of the worries that I mentioned yesterday. I don't like this at all and since I have zero expectations, I can only be positively surprised, I guess. However I am still lamenting the board not loaning a better player and profile who one could have been more confident about and a player who could add another dimension to our game. Alas.

Once again, La Masia has screwed us.

Thank the football gods Kevin 'Killah" Prince Boateng was willing to drop everything his new life in Italy to come and fight for our badge.

Already a pretty legendary player in my book.

lol Don't search for logic here. The same people also jerk off to Sarri while hating Valverde for his supposed "Willian fetish". At the same time Sarri plays Willian more than Valverde plays Rakitic.

Yeah spending 60m on a 30 year old is the same as using a player already in your squad (with no superior options on the bench)

Stay on your yacht mate. Football seems to have passed you by.

Rakitic played 2221 minutes while Willian played 2136 minutes this season.

Ouch  If Ursegor had any shame he wouldn't show his face here for a while.

lol Those 85 minutes totally change the core of the message of course that Willian is a staple in Sarri's side who made more appearances for Chelsea than Rakitic did for Barca.

This guy will fit in with the Messi-Suarez bad boy clique. Can’t wait until Suarez and Boateng bully Dembele

From relegated Portsmouth in 2009 to FC Barcelona in 2019, The Prince has certainly come a long way in 10 years!

Why are some guys angry about this? this is just a loan for few months with costing us 1m:lol: We have nothing to loose and suarez will play most of the games and even if kevin fails we have other options to play. He is now here and i wish him good luck. I guess the plan is to get a real replacement for suarez in sommer.
