Why are some guys angry about this? this is just a loan for few months with costing us 1m:lol: We have nothing to loose and suarez will play most of the games and even if kevin fails we have other options to play. He is now here and i wish him good luck. I guess the plan is to get a real replacement for suarez in sommer.

We signed Paulinho for 40 million and there was less drama. To be fair to the board only decent options available were Batshuayi and Morata.

OH and maybe Higuain. So you have two ex Madridsta chokers and another who's gifted but inconsistent.

Batshuayi’s situation is really perplexing, what happened to him? Last season he was so prolific at BVB and this season he couldn’t even get minutes at Valencia (I don’t think saying Bundesliga is crap is the answer).

I was just thinking about this the other day, out of all the ex-BVB players, Dembele and Lewandowski seem to be the only players who shined after leaving BVB. Nearly all the other ones have turned meh or mediocre.

I remember some Dortmund fans saying that Bats was only good at scoring against the weaker teams in Bundesliga and often wasn't reliable enough when facing stronger teams.

Bats was considered a good prospect and we were linked with back in 2016 before getting Paco. But he has shown at Chelsea that he doesn't have the required skill set/talent to make it at a big team.

Lol.. I mean come on, Dembele has been in pretty good form only for like 2-3 months. Gotze, Hummels and Gundogan did their bit towards titles in their respective clubs. No comparison to Lewa carrying Bayern really.

Well, might be too early to have a verdict on Dembele but Goetze absolutely bombed (his injuries were the No.1 culprit); Hummels was solid for a while but has increasingly been sidelined due to his inconsistency; Gundogan simply has not been seen much lately.

Lewa carrying Bayern? Dude's always choked along with Muller when needed in the CL. He misses way too many chances when it matters and it's not like Bayern have struggled creating them in recent times.

Gundogan's back injuries destroyed him. He doesn't play anything like he used to. Gotten much slower and less agile too.

Had he been healthy and never been out of football for almost two years he would have been on the level of Kroos, if not better. No doubt in my mind about that.

Dembele has dominated the French league at the age of 18. He is a different case.

League man. Obviously no need to go into the CL struggles. Bayern's problems go beyond 1 or 2 players in that respect.

Sure. Except we were talking specifically about player performance after leaving Dortmund, no?
