Suarez or Messi are not going to get subbed off in a CL semi-final unless they are dead. This guy is coming as a backup, and will not get much playing time (suspensions, injuries, resting the stars).
Thanks for stating the obvious and I was talking about what exactly? Yes, him being a reliable or unreliable substitute for Suárez WHEN or IF the former gets injured, is rested or suspended. The answer to that question, as far as I see, is a resounding no, unless proven otherwise.
Suprised nobody has mentioned his LONG list of disciplinary issues and trouble making.
I remember he got into trouble at Schalke and had his contract terminated. He was a handful regarding his international career and also left Las Palmas abruptly.
This is an absolute WTF from us.
An "added bonus" and it shows "character". Will make him "fight" more when given a chance. I mean "Paulinho", "Murillo" and "KPB" type of signings are now good and typical Barça signings that should be praised and given a chance. Us fans and club members cannot complain. New era and everything. Signing the likes of Coutinho for €160 million is a bargain as well.
