Too early to say that. Neymar will still be their king. He just took the role of penalty and freekick role from Cavani. Mbappé will be like Neymar to Messi at Barca. If Neymar does a Ronaldinho and declines early which many of the people predicted, Mbappé will take over that role.

RM are said to offer him very low wages though. RM have a strict wage structure and do not splash big on wages unless they are certain that the player is a superstar. Look at the wage players like Isco and Asensio got when they signed. We had the perfect scenario for him and all the money in the world so we could certainly have shown more interest.
