Kylian Mbappé

We paid 105+35.

They paid 135(LeParisien) / 140 (L'Equipe) +35/40 on LOAN.

Don't tell me we didn't have the 35m to adjust our bid. Especially on loan.

We would have the money for both Dembele and Mbappe. In the end, we ended up with only Dembele and no Coutinho. Now we must pay the consequences and hope Suarez get out of his rut (unlikely IMO).

I doubt that. Loaning a player to a rival is not something fans like. So he will spin it to make it seem acceptable.

You are contradicting yourself if think they will sell cheaper to other sides to avoid him going to PSG but on next hand say he was happy to send him there on loan.

Fixated on this idea Barca could have got him but never tried as it suits being able to moan about it for years.

Whatever.

Still to me 105+35, and 135+45 is not that much different.

I wasnt against Mbappe at all. I was one of the people who said we should buy Mbappe as Suarez is aging and we need someone on the left as well. A highly versatile attacker able to play on all positions in the attack like Mbappe would have been the perfect solution.

He's beyond that. He's a top 10 player and top 5 attacking player in Europe right now as a frigging 18 year old.

Can't believe people here have been laughing at PSG like they're the same 6-1 club after getting Mbappe and Neymar. Smacking Bayern 3-0 should show them some perspective and shut them up.

You know, bitterness can make you blind and that was what happened to 90% of Barça fans after all the Neymar drama.

I think the fans deserve to be bitter after the way neymar sr/jr conducted the transfer, no? I used to support neymar quite vehemently and would have had no problems with him leaving outside of the initial disappointment if it didn't go through the way it did.

Its silly to think that money will not buy success though. Look at Chelsea, City and countless other oil clubs. These clubs with no history are considered the "elite" now. The idea that PSG will never be able to do well in the CL is quite absurd. Money rules and with money comes success.

Wouldnt get a chance to play like that at Barca.

It would be slow pass after slow pass until Messi trots towards ball gets it and either tries to break ten men with a pass or plays it wide when has 2/3 men on him.

Honestly I think he has made the right choice to go there rather than come and play as part of a system based on Messi or Ronaldo at Real.

PSG so far are playing with a very balanced attack and not overly focusing on any one player.

Can feel the rest of europe catching up on La Liga fast. Could easily be a few of them are already better than Barca and Atletico. Will have to see how pans out.

It's ok to be bitter and still keep being reasonable and realistic. But that's the hardest part and most of our fellow Barça fans failed that.

actually, the interplay between their front 3 is reminiscent of peak MSN. obviously the players themselves are individually inferior to MSN (neymar aside) but the support from midfield is arguably better. madrid also played like that in BBC's first season (when bale first joined)

BLASPHEMY!
This guy is the real star of his team. What a talent, I love watching him on the ball.
Come here and play with your boy Ousmane in a few seasons :D
