Kylian Mbappé

Monaco won the league and went further in the CL than PSG. Teams win titles, players don't.

Teams are made of players.

Individually speaking Mbappe didn't come close to Cavani, or Lewandowski, or Kane.

Yes, he did. I just proved it. Meanwhile, you've provided no counter argument because you can't. You're a new supporter that doesn't understand football.

In regards to Buffon's placing it needs no explanation and if you actually think he was the 4th best player in 2017 you're out of your mind. Keep in mind these so called "experts" also thought Ramos was the 6th best player in the world ahead of your beloved Mbappe.

Is all you do is troll and insult people? Two pages, multiple post, and you've yet to put forward an argument or counter argument.

Lewandowski, Cavani and Kane all scored around 20 more goals than Mbappe did in the 2017 calendar year.

The fact that you actually think Buffon was the 4th best player in 2017 is laughable and speaks volumes about your judgement when it comes to football. There is no reason for me to explain why Buffon's ranking wasn't justified when everyone with eyes can tell he didn't deserve 4th place and it was just a lifetime achievement award of sorts. Navas made the CL final and actually won it, in addition to winning a much tougher league in La Liga. Where is he in the top 5? Navas isn't in the top 5 because he doesn't deserve it and neither does Buffon and if the roles were reversed I'm pretty confident Navas wouldn't finish close to 4th.

And Mbappe is one out of eleven.

One of the most important and influential of the 11, across two different clubs.

Lewandowski, Cavani and Kane all scored around 20 more goals than Mbappe did in the 2017 calendar year.

No, they didn't(Kane), nor is the ballon d'or a measure of goals scored.

When you provide an actual counter argument as to why Buffon didn't deserve 4th, I'll listen.

You cannot attribute team successes to any single player, regardless of how influential they may be. The Ballon D'or is an award that is supposed to be given to the best player in the world, not the best player on a winning team.

Notice I said the word "around."

Respond to the above, that you conveniently ignored in my last post.

You can assess a players contributions or value to a teams success. I.e. Mbappe was a valuable contributor to Monaco and now PSG. This is basic football analysis.

Notice that I said it didn't happen. I'm waiting for you to prove your statement, and after you fail trying to do so, I'll point out the flaw in using the goal scoring totals of out and out strikers to argue for why they've been better than a Winger/SS. I'll go on to point out that Mbappe has nearly has as many assist over the last calendar year as Cavani, Lewandowski and Kane combined, but that he plays a different role than they, so boiling down the argument to one of who has the better stats is fallacious at best. The entire picture must be taken into a account, and the picture painted by Mbappe in 2017 has been as phenomenal as any attacking player in the world not named Messi, Neymar, and Ronaldo.

Was Keylor Navas as important to Real Madrid's success as Buffon was to Juventus? There's your answer.

Why is this man saying that Mbappe equalised Usain Bolt's human speed record from 2009, which is 44,72 kmph after playing 90 minutes of football, while controlling a ball? I mean he is faast, but this is bullshit.

Its like people everywhere rooting for the underdog to win between mbappe and neymar.

Mbappe isn't close to neymar in skills or performances.

Imagine what he'd do when he is fresh. Bolt would be humiliated.

Mbappe is so fast that the linesmen only see a blur when they look for offsides.

Imagine what would he do in the Olympics if he ditches football and trains 100m sprinting for 2 years? He would ruin the competition in Tokyo. Sub 9.50 time here we come.
