The difference is the contract. Verratti signed a contract until june 2021. Verratti was nobody before Paris.

Mbappe is a striker, already recognized as one of the best talent. He wants Real, it's clear so he can discuss and negotiate his contract with a clause, to join the Real in 3 or 4 years.
