Kylian Mbappé

If PSG pays Neymar's release clause then Barcelona's budget will be 222m+ 60m (initial transfer budget for this summer) = 282m

Can pay cash for Mbappe and Dembele + try to sign a midfielder.

Should seriously consider selling one of Rafinha/Gomes/Denis too. Try to offload Vermaelen, Douglas and Arda however it's possible.

Barca have spent money this summer already.

Bartomeu said earlier this week that we have 60m to spend, assuming he factored the 12m for Deulofeu transfer fee. So this might increase the transfer budget close to 300m. We can outbid Perez for Mbappe if the player decided to come to Barcelona.

"[Barcelona's budget is] 60 million euros plus sales, and I hope that we will achieve a 20-million-euros sale."

He said the budget this summer was 60m not that there was 60m left.

Deulofeu and Semedo fee off that and transfers in.

Dont think anyone is getting Mbappe for less than 150m if Neymar goes.

The moment Barca become interest Real will go all in and it will shoot up in price.

If Real are willing to give up Benzema his better move is probably Real as starting CF.

We were trying to buy Verratti before this Neymar's saga. The offer was as per media outlets 60-70m + player (Rakitic or Gomes). Also bidding for Paulinho for 30m+, So I'm assuming he factored those transfers (Deukifeu and Semedo) aready.

Well, what if Neymar doesn't stay then?
Moreover, a comparison of Kylian and Neymar is only meaningful if it's done apple to apple, so perhaps it's best to see Kylian at the age of 25 before passing judgment,I'd say

I highly doubt that he will leave, lesser chance of him leaving than verratti joining.

we can't ditch a 25 year old player who is best in his position to sign a player who might be better when he turns 25. Then there will be someone else at 18 who would've a better prospect. Arsenal mature players and sell them at their peak, i am sure barca doesn't has that mentality.

I agree with Khaled. Go full retard and try for both Dembele and Mbappe if Neymar leaves. No point sitting on some 250million if we don't spend it on 2 world class talents. If not that, one of them and Coutinho. If not that, one of them and Keita.

Basically, fuck things up!

I highly doubt that he will leave, lesser chance of him leaving than verratti joining.

If PSG pays up the release clause we can't do shit. At that point it's not in our hands anymore but in Neymar's. If he wants to go to PSG we have to accept that and receive 220m and try to do something with it.

Didn't Neymar receive a lot of balls in perfect situations by Messi? Dembele can take care of himself quite well too. He was one of the best assist providers in Europe last season.

Anyway, while you do have a point in that we need a midfielder, Dembele and Mbappe are stars in the making, more so than any other young player in the game at this moment. We will sit on an approximately 250-280m budget. With Neymar gone we need the star power again for commercial purposes. These guys are young, wc talents with huge upsides. Perception is important too in this footballing world.

Anyway, both not gonna happen, but at least one of them should really be pursued in the case Neymar leaves.
