Except Mbappe's not going to cost 100m+. Even if he was, our squad is littered with inexperienced and/or below avergae/underperforming players. You want to avoid getting a player capable of scoring 40 goals a year, in a position we desperately need, because of principle? For a player you don't even know if he'll be playing next season...? Mbappe would drastically improve this team 10 folds if he was playing on our left flank, and you don't want that because...of principle.

I swear you people are weird.

Sure, if the club knows Fati is done I would be all over Mbappe, but we are not at that point. We are not talking about Deulofeu, Ansu is a serious talent.

And I would be shocked if Mbappe gets his free transfer.

Bro this is like City not going for any attacking midfielders because Foden's a serious talent lol. It makes no sense, it's not at all a rational decision when it comes to squad building. We can have experienced players AND youth you know.

Having Mbappe and (a fit) Fati competing makes no sense at all, sorry. We can try to shift them around to make both fit, but it makes much more sense to get an actual CF (and reasonable competition for Fati). But whatever, your opinion is clear and so is mine, not much to argue about.

One last thing: I am incredibly tired of this galactico approach.

It does because of one major reason: form fluctuates throughout the season, either due to injury or otherwise. That's why Sterling, Foden, Torres, Jesus, and Mahrez all do well despite effectively fighting for two positions on the pitch. When one dips in form, someone else takes their place and the team's quality rarely dips because of that. Same thing with Bayern: Sane, Gnabry, Coman, Musiala, and Coman all fighting for two spots. Sane was underwhelming, so Coman and Gnabry took the reigns. Now that others have dipped in form, Sane's taken the reigns, performed well, and the team's quality is effectively the same.

You're essentially arguing that we should only have two options for wingplay: Fati, and Dembele. We've seen just how vital pace is to augment our attack, and you want to hand the reigns to an underdeveloped Dembele (who will most likely never develop at this stage), and an 18 year old in Fati. Look at any squad building for any elite team in the world, it makes no sense.

Adding Mbappe and a quality CF, not only makes complete sense, it's a step closer to having an optimal attack.

First of all: nope. I am all for depth.

But having Fati compete with Mbappe is insane. The latter would be pissed if he doesnt get 90% of minutes. Just take a look at how we managed Messi - thats fair competition (for a worldclass talent).

Coutinho is "trash". Not wanted at Bar?a. Not wanted at Bayern Munich. Ever since he left Liverpool, he has done nothing bar those 2 goals scored against Bar?a. However, he would be very tempted to go to PSG due to his falling career.

In the other hand, i can't see Griezmann at PSG after all the shit he has said over the years about his so-called love for Marseille (and Lyon). He was said to love his life in Spain, one of the top reasons why he wanted to go to Bar?a. I don't see a single reason why he would want to go to PSG and i like it this way. The French seem to like to leech off Bar?a (Umtiti way).

Would be terrible transfer for PSG to get one of those guys even if Mbapp? is leaving. I prefer nothing than expensive "trash".

I agree with Laplacian. Plenty is no plague.

Having Mbapp? can't hurt Bar?a on the pitch. It can hurt Ansu Fati maybe but, if it doesn't hurt Bar?a, who cares ? Let the better one prove his worth.

That being said, given the financial situation of Bar?a, i don't know if Mbapp? transfer + wage wouldn't hurt them.

I don't think Mbappe's transfer will be a lot, I'm convinced he's leaving for free or a reasonable transfer sum. The wage can easily be dealt with if we get rid of problematic players like Coutinho and Griezmann, whom have a combined wage of 50m~ a year.
