Kylian Mbappé

I don't remember him so much apart from his Barca days, but I guess he got shower by then.

Yeah definitely didn't have that edge at Barca like he did at Arsenal circa 01-04. Robben was very fast though himself to be fair but Henry was ridiculous.

Real Madrid are preparing a €120m bid for Kylian Mbappe. This would be a base to open negotiations. Al-Khelaifi is still sure he can extend Mbappe's contract. [le_Parisien]

He is supposed to put all the speculations to an end next Monday, right?

I am guessing he will announce this is his last season at PSG.

Take the 120m or whatever PSG and sell him now.

If he leaves to RM now , he's an idiot

He wants to get out Leo's/Ney's shadow, win the Ballon D'or, pave his own path etc, etc. Also a massive Madrid and Cristiano fanboy. He will be a Madrid player by next summer at the latest. Most clubs would take the 100m+ and run, but money is no object for PSG so they might just let his contract run out.

yeah nasser has too much pride to do that but this will end up bad if results will not be really great during the season, press will have a lot of fun creating drama with mbapp? that wants to go to real, doesn't want to play with messi, doesn't like messi/neymar friendship etc...

He can do that after he wins the CL with PSG in the next 2 years. This is probably one of the biggest chances he'll ever get. If he goes to RM he can kiss goodbye his CL chances for the next 5 years AT LEAST.

In terms of pace, how would you guys rank these players in their prime: CR7, Thierry Henry, Arjen Robben, Mbappe? From slowest to fastest?

With or without the ball???

Without the ball they are all fast but i think prime Henry were fastets but with the ball then Robben (CR7 is slower than these 3 you mention in both categories).

He may follow Neymar 2017 path. Try to move to another top club where he will be their centre star. Probably regret about that in 3 or 4 years later.

At Madrid he will become the biggest name by far in a league starved for superstars and will have a new cycle built around him at the most prestigious club in European football. If he waits a few years that opportunity could go begging. Competing for a CL, which is hardly guaranteed, as the third wheel is not as enticing to him in comparison.

It is a high risk, move but also very high reward. Also don't think Madrid is that far out from winning CLs again. They made the semi-final last season with potentially their worst squad in decade. A few additions and the right manager is all it takes.
