You read about all the early modern contributions in mathematics that led to innovations to engineering which in turn led to the age of exploration, that was all done by the Portuguese, Spanish, Italians, French, and the British. The age of exploration and colonisation of the world was done by them, not Latvians.

Contribution to modern technology? The pioneers of quantum mechanics and electromagnetism were Danish, German, Austrian, Italian, English, and American. Not Latvians.

Not in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering. Not computer science. What about culture? Are they present in classical music? Nope, no significant classical composer of Latvian origin that's a part of the standard repertoire; all major composers are of Western and central European origins, with the Russians being the major exception.
