goals wise he did. Actual performances and impact, basically Sociedad away was the only time he looked the great player he’s supposed to be.He had his best club season last year.
3 penalties, only able to truly shine vs Sociedad, facing Newcastle and the worst Milan ever, and then failing vs Dirtmund. That mistake could have never happened, PSG loses, and it was still a career year for him.

Been a long while since he’s actually played like the player every team is supposed to fear.
He's peaked especially mentally.
Doesn't look like he has the drive or hunger anymore like he did. It seems all those years at PSG of him making absurd amount of money and being catered to every whim made him basically made him soft.
Now he expects everyone around him to do the work for him.
His head is goneHe's playing like he has no confidence in his ability anymore which is wild to see.
Could understand it if he had a serious knee injury like Fernando Torres back in the days, but he's been healthy and should technically be in his prime.
I have to disagree. I see a player who seems like he’s lost the desire. I know he had his highest scoring year but 5 of those goals came in two games against part timers in the cup to boost his tally and he scored more penalties than any other season in his career. It isn't just the CL, he was performing at his best in the league. PSG themselves aren't great in CL under Lucho, at all.
Mainly because the team lost every ounce of playmanking at the time.
Nah. Like Gareth, I prefer to look at their entire careers instead of this tiny sample space.Gareth Bale says he thinks Mbappe is the best in the world and his performances are more the consequences of the bad team effort.
Gareth should watch the ball control of Mbappe, he cant really give the team the fault for that + him missing a lot of chances.
Vini on LW is way better.
Bale seems like a guy who hardly watches football after retiring lol.

Mbappe is clear until it's proven that he's washed. He has way too much credit in the bank to write him off this early.
