Is that a PSed photo? I don't see the shirt-pulling by the Malaga player at all, after watching the vine clip again and again. In the video it seems the two were holding hands.

That's the first thing I looked for, I know how good and fast Madrid media are

But it's there in the vine too if you actually look for it.

What do you do when there's two fouls at the same time?

Defender grabs the shirt because Benzema already tugged him and spun him around, so he needs to stop Benzema from getting position on him.

That picture you posted is already after Benzema pulled and spun the defender around. It is a clear foul by Benzema and the only controversy is that it wasn't called and the goal stood when it shouldn't have.

It's hard to tell but it looks like he could be grabbing from the beginning.

There weren't two fouls at the same time. Benzema pulled and spun the defender around, THEN the defender grab the jersey to stop Benzema getting position on him.

Foul on Benzema, goal should not have stood.

Come on now footyfan.

What do you think is more likely? Benzema pulled and spun the defender around using the defender's hands, and within a split second while being pirouetted the defender grabs hold of Benzema's shirt (or) the defender is grabbing onto Benzema's shirt from the beginning and Benzema pulls him around to get rid of his hand thereby causing a foul of his own?

This is what I think is more likely. Speaks for itself.

Yeah this one clearly shows that Benzema fouled him, but it still doesn't show whether the defender was grabbing on to him from the beginning. Actually if you play it really slowly, it kind of supports what I'm saying.

Anyway this is a pointless conversation unless a head-on camera angle is available.

Isco got a red :shakeshead:

Except the defender has positional advantage on Benzema, and isn't even looking at Benzema but at the ball. He's feeling Benzema's position with his hand, and oh btw, Benzema has 2 hands on him as well. The blatant foul here is Benzema's

It's really bizarre you're defending this, specially when your argument is he might be holding Benzema's shirt before and you don't even have evidence of this.
