Given the situation beforehand we can be very pleased with the result and proud of the team for grinding out a win like that

Love it! Perfect la liga weekend! After the Madrid derby we will have even more of a buffer on one of the 2 Madrid teams or maybe both if they tie. Then we can actually rest MSN and others during league matches.

Villarreal is no joke. That away game against them will be quite the challenge, plus that stupid 16h kick-off doesn't make it less complicated.

The two weeks with the clasico and game vs Villarreal will be tough, hopefully we keep a substantial lead in the league until then

Nice result and all, but it's mind boggling how ref only added 3 mins. 3 mins is the fuking minimum to add for all the substitutions. Should've been added at least 3 more for time wasting in the end, whether players had genuine knocks/cramps or not. PL is very good in this regard. It's okay to have 6-8 minutes of added time.
