I do think the ref should have awarded a penalty here

That is never a penalty. Ronaldo only decides to go down when he knows the ball is too far ahead and then past him.

Griezmann is everywhere for Atleti, a free role in the 4-3-3. Really catalyzing everything for Atleti so far with a few chances created for Jackson.

Wasn't Doria the supposed wonderkid that everyone here wanted us to sign?

Played well here from what I saw.

Marseille signed him without Bielsa's approval and the latter then decided to never even consider him because of that effectively messing an entire year of his.

Vietto not hit the road yet, but will soon enough. Argentina should really get both in the team right now. Don't tell me freaking Lavezzi and Lamela deserves it more.

A goal and assist for both Correa and Torres. This is a big moment for the former, having a dream beginning to his Atletico career. Oliver/Correa look like they'll be key this season, Carrasco as well has been pretty impressive when he's played.

This Atleti team seems to be the epitome of youth success: Griezmann, Oliver, Koke, Gimenez, and Oblak are all crucial starters despite being very young players. The key subs (Vietto, Correa, and Carrasco) are really young too.

Torres coming on in second half with young players running opposition into ground hides some of the burst he has lost.

This is the best attacking line up can ever remember at Atleti.
