Best midfielder around
Celta up by 2 but more astonishing is that they are absolutely dominating Sevilla at Pizjuan. Barca and Real rarely looked this superior to Sevilla at their home.

We're gonna have a tough game in few days at Balaidos.
Idk, I think it's more about Sevilla's form. Celta didn't look that good when they drew against Las Palmas at home a couple of days ago.

Barca could be thrown out of the league if this independence thing goes through? Would be dull. Barca playing some random catalan teams every so often. Only Atletico left as rivals for us.

Never gonna happen.

Lol. There will be no winners, just losers in that situation, including Real Madrid who'd have to take a massive dump in the tv money they earn.

Empty threats. It's one thing to say it out loud, but from a sporting, business aspect, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

The league would take a massuive hit, so would barca. Doubt it will happen as well. One thing that is likely to happen though is a NT split, which would serve no one either.

Like I said, there will be no winners.

LFP can forget getting anywhere close to The Premier League in that case. More likely they'll end up down with Serie A and their position right now.

NT is a different matter, if the catalans became independent, a free nation, they would pretty much have to have a NT.

Catalans-free NT. Would be great for the Spaniards, no?

They pretty much don't like the Catalan players anyway, give a preferential treatment to others so I don't see why they'd complain. :)

Would be a big loss ofc, as it would be for the catalans as well. Perhaps even more for catalans atm.

First off, I don't think an independent Catalonia will ever happen, Spain simply will move mountains to prevent that from happening.

Secondly, if they do split, perhaps we and other Catalan teams can join La Liga kind of like the North American model which has both US and Canadian teams?

I'd imagine a deal would be struck. Regardless of Catalan independence or not, both Barca and Madrid would have no interest in playing in two separate leagues with no el clasico's. It would be long-term suicide and a fragmentation of the Spanish league would be disastrous. A deal would surely be struck

Valencia need to sack Nuno.

What an awful coach. Valencia been terrible to watch virtually the whole time he has been there.
