my god Huseca vs Sevilla ending was crazy. Important 3 points for Huesca. Imagine if either Alaves or Getafe gets the 4th place

On the other hand a part of me wants us to not have a bigger advantage than those 7 points in order to keep us on our toes and ready in the CL knockout stages provided that we can send Lyon home.
With Umtiti back and Murillo available, the like of Piqué can get more rest. Likewise give Miranda a chance in easy (on paper that is) league games at home to rest Alba. The kid just had an impressive game with the B team. If he can do it against the strongest Tottenham team that were desperately fighting for advancing to the knockout stage, he can surely do it against the likes of Rayo at home and the many other teams that we will face. Aleñá is ready to take minutes away from the usual suspects in the midfield as well.
Malcom simply HAS to play more as well. Coutinho should be used in the midfield more.
Plenty of opportunities for rotations with at most 19 games left in all competitions (12 league games, 1 CdR final and 6 CL games at most).
There are no excuses for Valverde with this lead in the league, a CdR final booked and a Lyon game at home which should obviously be the priority hence rotations against Rayo being necessarily. At least partially.

Breath of fresh air. Imagine Alaves playing in CL. Would do wonders for the team and the fans. Remember when they played that insane Uefa Cup final vs Liverpool. One of the greatest games i've seen.
