Well. Let's look at what we did last season in those games. With an inferior squad that is.

3-0 win to Madrid
5-0 win to Betis
2-0 win to Villareal
2-2 draw to Sevilla
2-0 win to Bilbao

4 wins 1 draw. Why should we expect less with a better team this year?

Different circumstances (with regard to playing against Real Madrid) and this season injuries are more prevalent.

We will see.

Only Umtiti is injured and now Arthur who wasn't here last year either. This time we have an improved Dembele, improved Semedo, Arthuro Vidal, Alena, Lenglet, Malcom.

If it was only a function of your squad quality, sure. lol.

Why do you think we're murdering the league in the last decade? Because we wear blue and red stripes? Lol. Because we've had and still have some of the best players in the world. We've almost barbecued our way to a double with Tata Martino ffs vs the strongest Madrid and Atletico in ages.

Probably what the board think on a daily basis TBH. I don't disagree tho.

Lol. You'd think Madrid fans would know better after being trashed 2 times without Messi playing except for 20 mins.

9-1 combined score.

Suarez for example pissed all over Madrid without Messi in both games.

He's usually enough, but you're underrating this squad. They showed they could do well enough even without Messi.

Though, they let loose when he's fit. Just like the board.

That was a mad ending to espanyol rayo. Darder scored what he thought was a good winning goal with all the celebrations only to have it chalked off for another player slightly offside. Then a few minutes later he got a stunning winner. A goal he probably wouldn't have gotten if the first stood

Odd. Don't remember this many goals being scored on Wednesday. Did Messi only play 20 minutes then? Thought it was at least 30.

Must have missed it.

I don't think I underrate them. Saying that Messi is involved in 90% of the goals doesn't equate to Messidependencia. Nor does him being missing equate to you coping just fine without him.

We're saving them for our favorite stadium in about 3 weeks. 6 goals on Camp Nou vs Madrid is enough for a season. We want Madrid fans to see some great goals too, just like last year.

Plus, if we score 10 goals vs Madrid without Messi at home, he'd start to feel as if he's not needed. Wouldn't want that. We need him working hard.

Last season was fun though. 7-6 score in all Clasicos is pretty decent for us vs Messi.
