Thing is he made a full attempt at diving to get it and just couldn't save it. The player made no attempt to get involved in the play either, but what's done is done.

I don't disagree. Like I said, I thought it was a goal. If the player moved even an inch to get away from the path of the shot (which I didnt think he did?) then it's a case for 'impeding' the action. Need to watch it back TBH, but I'm comfortable with it being a wrong call.

He did jump back but ball was never hitting him.

The penalty was the type of incident that always happens in the box. It is not tackle or anything by the Sociedad player. It is similar to the Marcelo incident a while earlier. Players touch each other prior to attacker shooting. Attacker gets unbalanced and scuffs the shot. Happens time and time again in every game.

The offside call is an absolute joke. The Sociedad player is not even on the trajectory of the shot. Only way Curtois is bothered by that player is if his eyes and his dick change places.

And the Benzema goal is a clear hand ball in the region of the hand near the shoulder. But it's for sure hand ball. Even live Benzema's hand moves after the impact consistent with a hand ball. It's very similar to the hand ball Sociedad player made on Camp Nou in the penalty we received. Unfortunate, but hand ball.

Looked like Llorente gave him a slight shove as away to shoot for the penalty.

Soft but if they deemed that enough to throw him off balance it should be a red as well.

That today was pure daylight robbery imo. I can't believe there are still so many wrong calls from the refs in the days of VAR. I mean, why did they disallow the first Sociedad's goal? The attacker was nowhere near the ball when Januzaj shot it and had absolutely no influence and impact on the shot. Benzema's goal was also debatable. Sociedad deserved more from this match. I think a draw would be a more fair results in this regard.

The one call that I'm really fuming about is the Sociedad disallowed goal. Seriously wth was that?
