That's with Ronaldo in the box. Big difference. That's probably the no1 striker you want for that type of service. Sticking with the same volume crossing tactics without him is going to lead to failure probably.

Benzema is not too bad at it. Usually works in desperation mode. I think it's worrying how quickly Zidane goes to this though. Last 15-20 minutes? Sure.

Benzema is nowhere near. He is okay, but that's it. In the bigger games, he's usually blocked.

I'd like to see Madrid get Liverpool and be put in their place in CL again. This volume crossing will be dealt with ease by Liverpool and they'll win the 2nd ball and then Madrid will be blown to pieces on the counters. Could get very messy for them.
Liverpool wouldn't sit back in the first place. It's why we won in Kiev.

Nope. Multiple setups. Clearly shows you're not watching. Frequency of crosses is only obvious when we play against a bus. Most other times when the opponents come to play we win in many many different ways. See PSG games, see Bayern games, see Dortmund games.

They come at you until they go in front, and then they sit back and play on the counter. You do volume crossing like that with a firm team, you allow them many counters. Now, Sociedad are too weak to go on counters from their half, but a team with the transition of Liverpool, fastest in the world, is going to fuck you up.
