It was the right decision to seperate Messi and him. In retrospect we would have been better off letting Messi go and keeping Suarez though (at least short term). Which sounds a bit crazy, but building around him with Griezmann would have been much easier.

Yes. It was. But it was also a bad decision to go in to the season with no proper No9. To think that Griezmann will be a pure 9 is an idiotic idea. Then the idea that Braith will deliver as many goals as Suarez was total dumbass. The idea that Messi can be a real 9... Jesus. What we were left were bunch of wingers, messi and Griezz and Cou. There was only Braith as a 9. And he is not even BarcaB level of a 9.

They had to get some proper 9. Even if it was some freelance oldie. Bring him for free and for some 1-2m paycheck.

This team lacks a 9. It is not a thing of dna, rna of whatever... It a thing of someone who can bang goals in penalty area. To pick up all those loose balls and bang them. To keep some long ball and turn with it.

Real fans now complaining about giving them Llorente for title as well!

Hopefully some of the Suarez clauses are met by them winning league and get some money from it. Cant remember reading what they were.
