I was about to bring up yesterday how quick things can change. A little over a month ago Real fans were making fun over our standing in the liga. No we ahead.

What? We were saying "at least Barca is awful as well", which is making fun of both.
We never had anything to brag about this season, so we never did.

The H2H only takes into effect after both rounds are completed.

And soul2rage is right. For now we are above Real in standings.

Its nothing new, Perez loves his own signings.
He spent a lot of time hyping up Bale to be better than he actually was to, in no small part to cover over how butthurt he was that Neymar turned him down(never got over that one, hence scouting wide attackers in Brazil endlessly).

They probably won't and won't need to. 40 points in the second half of the season, should be enough to win the title. Doubt both Barca and Real will be as good as Atleti was in the first half.
