And yes Valverde did revolutionise Greek football :) crazy I know when you learn about other cultures.

He was coaching entertaining football back then.
Meanwhile and before joining Barca he spent some rough years over at Valencia, Villareal, and Bilbao, where he learned the craft of squeezing out results with bad football.

Unfortunately (for us), it was the latter Ernie that showed up at Camp Nou

IMO. He was the right choice for the first season when we lost Neymar right before the season. He should have been sacked after Roma disaster though.

After Neymar I don't think we had strong enough team to play pretty football. Grinding results was the right move at the time.

What are the chances we escape from Atletico and Real and lose the title to fecking Sevilla?😁 A tragicomedy of the highest order.Still, if we beat Atletico, i think we will be champions. Visca!

I guess if La Liga really wanted to punish the ESL clubs, deducting points from Barca, RM and AM, but i doubt very much it will happen.

Wouldnt mind it though.

The only thing that I'm worried about is the 4 yellow cards for Messi, FDJ, Mingueza and Griezmann

-Messi is a player that I'm least worried about unless he complains a lot to the refs lol
-FDJ and Griezmann, I'm sure as long as they are careful, they'll avoid a yellow and I hope they don't as we don't have good reliable substitute if they get a yellow against the likes of Valencia and ATM
-Mingueza is the one that I'm most worried about, but I think we're well covered in this position with Bob (he's much better as a RCB than a RWB imo) and Firpo who also played in this position playing well against Mbappe.

Araujo can come in for Mingueza.
Dembele can come in for Griezmann.
FdJ is more problematic as Sergi Roberto hasn't shown a good level since returning while Pedri-Ilaix does not sound reliable.

The Valencia game could be feisty so we have to be careful Messi doesn't get carded there and miss Atl.

It's inevitable that they get cards at some point, we just have to hope it is not a big game nor all together.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/soccer-predictions/la-liga/

Our estimated chance of winning LaLiga climbed to 73% after the last results!
(This is the best prediction/modelling site I know of)

Make it happen!

That site says 88% chance of winning against Granada...
And 62% chance against Atletico...

Could be true, but I'm still a bit skeptical. Barcelona should clearly be the favourites (as I think they should've been in february as well, the Atletico stumble was predictable), but I think they both over performed and had some luck for some months now.
This site predicts one draw and one loss and 85p for Barcelona in the end, maybe one of the other three teams go clean in the remaining five?

I don't think that will happen. Look at the CL. Semifinals will be played. But maybe from next season that will be possible.

There was a lot of confusion at the end of Sevilla's match against Granada on Sunday evening, as referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea whistled the game to a close one minute early. After four minutes of stoppage time was announced, both Sevilla and Granada were surprised to hear the whistle go after three minutes. The Granada players surrounded De Burgos Bengoetxea, who after consultation with Antonio Mateu Lahoz in the VAR room, as well as the other on-pitch officials, realised his error and asked the Sevilla players to come back onto the pitch. However, many had already made their way down the tunnel, while others had taken off their socks and boots.
Fortunately for De Burgos Bengoetxea, there was nothing of note that happened in the resumed final minute of action as Sevilla held on to win 2-1.Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos spoke to Movistar after the match and recognised the confusion that it had caused."The referee's watch stopped. I never saw it, but you always learn something new. There were players who had already taken their kit off," said Ocampos after one of the strangest situations ever seen in Spanish football.
