I don't know where this notion surfaced that we're bottlers. Aside from those two EV specials, I can't think of other instances (even Carlo's Milan had Deportivo and Pool). We're either staggeringly great or completely shit. Not much in between.

We have lost against inferior side against Chelsea in 2012, against Atletico in 2014, against Atletico again in 2016. All aforementioned teams were far inferior than us. In addition to Benfica and Inter losses in group stage in past 2 years that lead to us being knocked out of group stage, loss 0-3 at home to Juve that lead us to play PSG in round of 16.


OTOH, Barca has never really beat a team that was superior to them, in fact we get humiliations in such case.
We have abysmal record in past decade and half outside home.
Call it bottler, call it sof, call it what you want. But it isn't just 2 incidents
