When I said we lost the league in mid December after the loosing streak including the games with Las Palmas, Leganes, Sociedad, people were saying "It's common to lose points, no big deal, RM will lose points as well. League is not lost"

and then RM trashes Las Palams while people have to come up with cope excuses to why we lost to such team. :ROFLMAO:

And now we're stuck with Bumsi who lost 4 games in two months, lol.
Just a reminder that Valverde bottled a 3 goal lead from 1st leg in the CL knockouts. Not once but two times in a row.

Also reminder that he had the greatest footballer of all time and one of the best strikers of this century (plus a load of other quality players) at his disposal yet still managed to bring absolutely nothing except the usual scrappy Liga/Copa wins that Madrid didn't even care about as they were busy dominating European football in that period.

I will never understand how serial losers like Lucho and Valverde earn so much praise from this fanbase. If only we could get a proper manager to replace Pep and not retards of their kind we would have lived through very beautiful moments.

I see, another penalty when they need it. Just extending their lead in penalties.

Don't really care if it was a foul or not, other teams (including us) are applied with different standards for la Liga referees.

En route to break 20 pens per season but you know once the title is secured we will see a penalty here and there against them as well and more for us just to iron out the stats a bit.

It's a cynical and corrupt system.

IMO, Valverde has become both underrated and massively overrated at the same time by separate parts of the fanbase.
Underrated because even with everything at his disposal he found a way to win and grind out results and league wins.

But also overrated because he was awful in Europe and losing like that to Roma and Liverpool back to back was a huge embarrassment and there's simply no excuses for that.

He wasn't awful in Europe per se, losing to Rome by away goal and against Liverpool by one goal is actually consistent with our European campaigns since 2011, with the exception of 2015 obviously. Losing by 3+ goals was also a habit that started under Tito.

But it was the way we lost that was indeed awful. And yeah, I agree he became a polarising figure in the club.

LaLiga is over, Madrid might lose points but we are even more inconsistent, they have only lost 1 game (vs Bilbao) over the last +50 Liga games not counting the Clasico L a few months ago.

Meanwhile we are out there taking L's to fodder teams like Las Palmas and Leganes at home lol. If you factor in the ref bias is pretty much a wrap.

Nothing mister could do when he had this crybaby in the team.
