I don't understand why some people in the fanbase care about saying how good E.Valverde was at Barcelona, actually the man played a miserable 4-4-2, without any speed on both wings and most of the time, he was outplayed by Messi who at that time was a midfielder/forward, changing his position as his dick wanted, nothing good could come out of this. That team was only consistent in the championship and that's it, at the lowest intensity of the opponent, they lost the match in the worst possible way.

However, Flick's mandate is still not up for judgment, because we don't know what he is capable of in the ko's ucl stages, so there is still time to wait. I also suspect now, that if he could beat some very big forces, several times, we will at least reach the UCL final, with Liverpool as the opponent, at least that's what I think.

Lol, not his fault DumBale was constantly injured and he had to accomodate Messi and his amigo in the lineup.

What people fail (or don't want to) realize is that EV was brought by Bartomeu to get the most out of the dying years of amigos which he did. He was probably also promised we'll sign Verratti but in the end not only didn't get him but also stayed without Neyboy because Bartomeu upset Nasser. :lol:So we ended with a glass made Dembouz and mental midget misfit Cou.

Look at don Ernesto's Bilbao to see how he wants to play when he's not limited with the team. He never plays 442 but use fast wingers and high pressing. Something he couldn't do here with amigos.

Also, our woes in European away games started before EV. People forget we lost 4-0 in Paris (and then in next round 3-0 in Turin) just because PSG were even bigger bottler. Except the treble season when MSN took things in their hands after that Anoeta loss we failed to score in crucial away games (when away goals were still a thing) in 6 out of 7 seasons. So we were pretty much doomed already with better teams than what EV had at his disposal.

I have a very limited knowledge in Spanish, based on Latin common words and some swears thanks to Tano Pasman.

Is this clip a racist rant actually or the classic football taunting "your mother is a whore" and "fuck your mother"? And why are they taunting a bunch of players warming up? Takefusa Kubo?

On this occasion, the insults were directed at three Real Sociedad players, specifically Take Kubo, Ander Barrenetxea and Mikel Oyarzabal, while they were warming up on the sideline before going out onto the field in the second half of the match. A small group of Valencia fans insulted them by referring to their origin, in the case of Kubo and Oyarzabal. “Chino, open your eyes, you're Chinese”, “Etarra, son of a bitch, go plant bombs. There they put a bomb on you and cover your head", "Then live in Spain, son of a bitch" or "Hold the stick and stick it up your ass" were the comments that can be clearly seen in the 'Inside' of the match .

:shakeshead:
